Singapore Reunion Trip Part I
After graduation from school, people start to work to develop their career, to earn living or for their luxury. They would forget their friendship; forget their promise because they are too busy.
I am so glad, so lucky to know Almen, Yvonne ( Miss), Cora, Jill and Judy in University. We have been keeping our friendship for XXX years. We have kept our promise to go for an reunion trip in overseas city.
We made a trip to Singapore on 29/9~2/10/07 successfully after removing several difficulties:
First of all, we set off from different places for this trip.
Almen and I were from India, Judy was from Thailand due to her job. Miss, Cora and Jill were from Hong Kong but different time as the limitation of ticket and package.
Secondly is the availability of flight ticket.
We started to search for tickets and package only in September. Originally, we would like to go to Thailand. However, the flight to Thailand is soooooo full. Quickly, we changed the destination to Singapore, settled the hotel and tickets very soon since this period is peak season for traveling to anywhere.
Money is another concern of course.
Due to our late booking and Almen and I are set off from India. The flight ticket of Malaysia Airline with transit in Malaysia costs each of us about 4200HKD!!!!! SOOOOOO expensive comparing to the rate in Hong Kong. However, we bought it.
In addition, Almen and I suppose not allow to have overlapping annual leave as NY has put this words. But we still applied for 1.5 holidays to our direct Indian boss because we know we should not miss this reunion anniversary trip. We did it, though finally, NY discovered. Luckily, he is not very angry.
The situation seems like we are daughters of NY. We did something wild and were afraid of scold by parent. However, parent never get real angry of his cute daughter!!!
Here was the moment we gathered finally!!! First, we met Judy, then, Miss and finally Cora and Jill..... Yeah!!!!
