7-17 Sept in HK - Part 6 (Paid a price)

I used to be an organised, careful person. In this trip, I made an mistake which I cannot accept it peacefully, even regardless of the money.

On 17 Sept, I went to Shatin with my Arka for the final shopping time, especially, in my favourite shop, MUJI!!! I got a lot of bargains from there. However, when I arrived home to pick up the luggage and set off for airport. Arka insisted me to do online check-in which I never do before. When entering the information, we suddenly found that my flight time should be 16:15. The clock at the time was already 15:45!!!! Oops....... what to do????

Again, Arka performed calmly, like the last time when I fell down from bicycle. She helped me to arrange the next flight, while I was packing the luggage with silly laughs. Thing has settled with extra fee of 220SD (1250HKD). I took the 20:00 flight and arrived Singapore at 23:45 on the same day.

On the way to airport with Arka and my parent, they did not say anything bad about my mistake. My father as usual said ' Happiness and health are the most important' . ' Don't be upset, reduce the monthly money that you need to give me'
Arka also kept saying ' I pay for you.'
But my reply to them was ' It is not only about money, I just cannot accept that I made such kind of mistake!!!' Finally, I paid by myself, as I need to be responsible for my mistake.

Despite a lot of people asked me what is the departure time, I did not check and firmly replied 19:00. I don't know why I was so confident in my memory... but I was wrong :<
When I made the booking of e-ticket, I remembered that I was struggling which flight I should take for my return: Less time in HK or more time in Singapore. Maybe, in my mind, I still want to spend more time in HK, however, my another mind finally made the decision to come back Singapore earlier.

I paid a price to be responsible for my mistake.
I paid a price to have a lesson.
I paid a price to enjoy more time in HK.
I paid a price to do more shopping in HK.
I paid a price to know how kind is my family.
I paid a price to know how nice are my friends.

Um... it seems that I am gaining more than I paid.....
Thank you for all of your kindness!!!
