Giant BBQ night

Dairy Farm provides place for entertainment. Today, Giant has booked the place for our BBQ night. The place is located in a club house in East down town where is very near to my home.
After struggling, I went to see see the place at about 7:30pm, in fact it is quite late :P
They use magarine, but I prefer HK honey. However, marinated chickens which are really good taste , see my chicken steak and wings?
Coming to the end of the programme, we can get the left behind products e.g. longans, sweet potato, sweet corn... tmr, no need to go to supermarket!!!
The room is quite nice, some ppl may stay overnight!

Nice meals

Today, we had nice meals. We had grilled rice for lunch at ' Pepper lunch' which is originated from Japan where I always have confidence in their quality and standard. I tried the beef curry rice and Barry had Eel rice. They tasted really nice!!
I introduced Barry my favourite shop ' MUJI'. He also found it good and shopped something!!!
After dinner, we had Chinese dessert in Bugis. I had yam paste and shared glutinous rice in syrup. Another thumb up!!!
Barry is going back to Australia tmr and will be back again three weeks later.

Delicious Udon

Today, I prepared fried udon again as I found that I cook quite well and tasty :>
Even I was tired, I still went to supermarket to buy udon as no stock at home!!

Chinese dessert

Today, I have dinner and then chinese dessert with Ruth in Bugis.
Ha.... my self shooting skill is really good~~

During Judy stay in Singapore

I went out to join the dinner of Judy and her colleagues. We had Indonesia food. After that, I prefer to walk for a while with Judy, instead of joining their Karaoke.
We visited a interesting shop!!!
Judy also waited for the bus with me.
Hey... there is arrival time board in the bus stop... high tec???!!!!
P.S. : I am still very good at self shooting... Yeah!!!

My boss is leaving

This is my boss, however, tmr is his last working day in Giant.
The steak is from Aston which has entered a food court in Tampines surprisingly. The meat is a bit toughm but the french fries are good.

Demsey Road and Holland Village

Today, first time go to Demsey Road and Holland Village, there are several nice restaurants and meat & cheese shops there.
I had a cake and drink there.

During Judy and ar Tai stay in Singapore

Today, we went to Japanese restaurant in East Coast. This restaurant also has branch in HK!!!
We tried creamy Udon. I tried the mocha ice-cream cake... Yummy....
Then, we had wandered for a while in the east coast park. Finally, Danny and Ruth drived us back to Judy's hotel and my home. They are super kind!!!

隻身來到新加坡, 在一個佰生的環境工作, 會做成點呢 ??!!!
前天, CEO約了我見面, 這都幾Surprise, 因為我的職位與他真是隔幾重...
因為我的直屬上司(merchanding manager)離開, 我亦會轉返operation 跟另一個的老板, 所以他想重申這事及我工作的重點, 另外, 他想知道我會在新加坡逗留多久, 會在這裡retire 嗎?? 我家庭,工作背景,就像interview, 因為他並不認識我.
從他口中, 其他人對我的評語都幾好的, 從對話中, 他對我的印象都不錯, 並提點我留意在人家眼中的形象 ... 因為我是揹背囊上班的 :P....

During Euro travel friends stay in Singapore

We traveled Europe before. We travel Singapore now. Thanks for visiting me to bring me a lot of laughs and photos.

Ms Fong

Ms Fong from SKL is visiting Singapore. She invited me to have dinner with her and her family and working partner.
In the past, I might be afraid of having such dinner, too social. However, now, it is nice to see people I knew here and she is very kind.
We had Chinese dishes in Hotel. I enjoy the Chinese soup very much.

Cakes dinner

Tonight, I bought some cakes for my dinner from a nice restaurant Bakerzin, previously introduced by Ruth. I found it in VIVO mall.
Tart shape is 'Bostock' and chocolate cake is ' chocolate Amer'

Fish Floss

Since I tasted fish floss in India brought by Almen, I like it.
In Singapore, I also want to have it.
First, I tried with congee, like in India.
Then, I also put on the toast. This is the idea from Toast Box. It tastes good also.
So one more dish you can try in my home when you visit me.....

My master of halal meat

This is my master of halal meat, Barry Lloyd from Australia.
He is an organised, knowledgable, proactive, friendly person. He is also a Vigor and likes mocha ice-cream in scoops ice-cream shop, also have same impression of someone!!!
These two weeks, I learnt a lot about beef in cutting, merchandising, quality as well as coaching skills, organisation. It is a fruitful training session not only for Giant, but for myself as well.
He will come back again 2 weeks later and alternatively continue the training of another 6 weeks. So I am looking forward to learning more from him and getting different tasks done, tasting different food in lunch!!
