Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Concert Tour in SG

Finally, Jacky came to SG to have the 1/2 Century Concert Tour!! I had been waiting for it for long time.
Due to the Japan study trip, I missed the chance to enjoy his show in Hong Kong. So I must make sure I can enjoy it in SG!!!
When I know that his concert is sponsored by Giant, I consulted the Marketing manager, Linda Pan at that time before I left the company. She said no VIP seat and no back stage photo taking. That I understand which is not possible. Free ticket was still not sure. So I bought a ticket by myself. It is expensive. The 'peak' seat costs 98 SGD which is about 640 HKD already!!!
My South African boss, Norman knew that Jacky Cheung is my favourite singer. He said he would get a ticket for me!!! I am happy about that, but he is not the one to control the free ticket issue. Luckily, he finally got one ticket for me. so I enjoy 26 Aug (1st) and 28 Aug (3rd) concert of Jacky's tour in SG.

On 26 Aug, Almen also got 2 free tickets from the company. But we sat separtely. I was near the music panel, facing front to the stage, but it is far from the stage of course.
Sharon gave me lights to wave during the show! I shouted loud also!!! So enjoyable!!
It started at 8:15 and ended at 11:30. He did not talk much to get more time to sing! He is struggling to talk in Cantonese or Mandarin... haha...
It started with a muscial story with video.
It is a glass stage which makes a lot of change during the show.
His custom is grand and sparkling.
The laser effect is nice which is even more enjoyable when sitting at the 'peak' seat on 28 Aug.
There are some songs different on 26 and 28 Aug.
All the songs, dancing, vedio, music, carton, the rundown was so good. I love it very much!
The song that I was moved the most on 26 Aug is '我等到花兒也謝了', the 28 Aug night is' 如果愛'...
Only one pity is that I cannot see him in SG as if in HK, to wait and shake hands with him after the show outside the HK stadium in the past. I miss you very much!!! Thank you for the show.

One understanding/ reminder from this simple experience. Longing to enjoy the show, I finally enjoyed. Time running very fast during the show. I don't want the show to end, but it would end... The show finally finished and it is part of memory. Every good thing and even bad thing in the world is like that... It pass, but it remains in memory, no matter you like it or not.

A Thai friend from New Zealand

This is Gail from Thai, but have been living in New Zealand for 9 years with husband.
I knew her in a occasion at Thailand airport when I had transit flight there about 4 years ago. I gave her easy favour to share a luggage trolley during our transit time. We kept contact occasionally online, but never expect to see each other again. This is the special chance for us as she has transit time in SG in her way going to Thailand.

I always feel amazing about the arrangement of life in knowing people and become friends among billions of people in the world. Sometimes, very close friends with someone, sometimes, little further away, sometimes can meet often, sometimes, meet occasionally or no more chance.

We went to famous hawker centre in Serangoon when I never visit before as I think every hawker centre is the same. However, it is a good chance for me to visit with friend.
Like I said, the food over there are similar to other hawker centre, but I think the taste is relatively better than other especially the Rojak!

She has brought me chocolates. I was tempted by the triangular one. There is lavender chocolate in it. I like lavender very much! But it is the first time I tasted lavender chocolate. The flavor stayed in my month for some time.... so nice!!! Thank you :)

Change in Work!

Today, my boss (Norman) promoted to look over Shop and Save as well. Vincent will support him to look after Giant, but report to Norman. I am pleased that Norman asked me to come over to SNS to help him. At once, I agreed. So I will still directly report to him in the future and continue to learn from him of his management.
A lot of hard work, projects would be coming for sure, however, the quality and profit of the work is rewarding when directed by him and he is always there to guide and support.
