My first Ribeye

As I am learning beef cutting from an Australian expertise, Barry Lloyd. Tasting the meat is very important. After consulting Barry, I only need to use some oil, some pepper and 4 mins, I prepared a nice Ribeye.
Tenderness is ok, taste can be improved, do you want to taste?

Fever night

There is long time wanting to go to that restaurant 'PUMP' after Ruth 's recommendation.
It is a pub having live music performance. It is always crowd of people and lining outside the pub. So we went there to have dinner and wait for music begining at 10:30
We had lobster pasta, lamb rack, chocolate cake with bailey's ice-cream and wine, an enjoyable dinner.
Music started, there are live band and three singers. The pub was getting more and more people, dancing in the pool or at their seats, so were we. Most of the songs I don't know, but the beat and the voice were enjoyable. (Hope you can watch the vedio below)
After two sessions of the performance, we went back at 1:00. Ruth is very nice to spend the night with me, though she need to fly to HK next day 11:00am. The charge of that night is expensive too.. Thanks for your accompany.

Dinner with HR department

This was the second time that I joined the dinner with HR department. They are so nice to invite me to join them.
We had Indonesia food near Parkway. They are deep fried chciken, fish, fish meat with very spicy sauce.
Then, we went to Still Road to have Durian. See... the Durian mountain and the seats!!
All Durians are come from Malaysia. The taste brings a bit bitter taste.
The shop keeper open each and let customer first before putting into customer's basket.
We bought 10 Durians, but finally could only consume 9 Durians.( 5SD each)... Um... I want to take home the left over ... :P

Simple food, but enjoy

Today, I went to nearby community club, but have not found any interesting course.
Then I went for shopping at supermarket as usual.

Today, I found good quality of cherry. At once, I put into my shopping basket. There is long time I have not tasted cherry, sometimes, due to the price & quality, I did not buy.
I also bought loaf for breakfast, but as well, I prepared the french toast for my tea/dinner.
I also found frozen fish nugget. After I tasted, actually, it is like deep fried fish paste. It is easy to prepare as I can use the oven.

I called home to chat with father for a while. He is fine. As usual, he asked me to be happy.
So usual is good, I learnt to treasure these occasional usual conversations in recent years.

I found it after coming back from Shianghai food dinner...
I used 15 mins to kill it with pesticide and shoe...
Very scary and tired......
I made my kitchen in a mess because of 小強... Need to wait for the maid to clean and tidy up la...

Second night, we went to 鼎泰豐. There is long time I have not tasted Shianghai food.

Oh... hot 小龍包...

Afterwards, Ruth brought us to a nice cake shop and bought me a nice cake - Lavander chocolate mossess!!!

They are so nice that brought me MUJI 's Snack.

Friend in Town - Yvonne

Yvonne, my good friend, U mate, Ruth's twin sister is in Singapore for training for 2 weeks.
This was the first gathering, we had crepes.
